Biography
As the Senior Associate Director for Employer and Alumni Engagement, Don focuses on building new relationships, and expanding existing partnerships, with organizations and companies at a local, regional, and national level to help cultivate internship and employment opportunities for Oberlin students. He also coordinates the CED Winter Term Micro-Internship Program, is the primary Oberlin contact for the Summer on the Cuyahoga internship program, helps develop connections for summer internships, and serves as a member of CED's Leadership Team.
Prior to Oberlin, Don spent nineteen years in the public workforce and economic development sectors. His primary experience has been with non-profit workforce development agencies delivering employer and jobseeker services under Federal workforce programs across Northern Ohio; as well as supporting business retention and expansion efforts. Additionally, Don has served as an advisory committee member for a local re-entry training program.
