Biography
I am currently a graduate student in the counseling psychology program at the University of Akron, where I am working toward a PhD. I also earned a BA in psychology at the University of Akron. I have lived in Ohio my whole life and grew up in Elyria, OH.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-centered. I believe in having authentic and genuine connections with my clients, which I hope will empower them to lead the life they deserve. I work from a feminist and multicultural perspective, encouraging my clients to be who they are in and out of therapy. The relationships we have give us meaning and purpose, which is why I also work from an interpersonal framework and work with my clients to enhance these important connections.
I am interested in working with clients exploring their identities, sense of self, or just want to live their best life! I have previously worked with clients of color and LGBTQ+ clients who had concerns with anxiety, body/self image, and interpersonal distress.
