Jonathan Lucke

Jonathan (any pronouns) is a fifth-year Double Degree student from Las Vegas, Nevada. He is studying Biology and Environmental Studies in the College, and Percussion in the Conservatory with an integrative concentration in PACE (pedagogy, advancement, and community engagement). 

Outside of admissions, Jonathan is the co-chair of the Biology Majors Committee, is a student researcher in Angie Roles’ lab, is an Arts and Sciences Orchestra assistant, teaches secondary lessons, and is an assistant for the Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra (NOYO). Additionally, he is a member of Oberlin’s Multiracial Students Association and Japanese Student Association. Jonathan is an instructor for one of Oberiln’s Experimental College courses (ExCos) called YipYipCo, which is a course about Avatar: The Last Airbender.

After graduation, Jonathan intends to attend graduate school to complete a dual master's in marine science and percussion.
