Bella (she/her) is from Columbia, MD, and is a fourth-year majoring in Sociology, minoring in Spanish, with a concentration in Peace and Conflict Studies. She really enjoys working with the local Oberlin community, having spent time tutoring math and teaching Spanish at Oberlin Elementary. Additionally, she has worked at Oberlin Community Services, Oberlin’s food pantry and social service organization, since her first year. Bella also volunteers with Writers in Residence, a program that teaches creative writing to incarcerated youth. She appreciates the connections that Oberlin College works to cultivate with the Oberlin community.
On campus, Bella serves as a sociology research assistant and is involved with the Reproductive Justice Alliance. In her free time, Bella enjoys eating beans at Tank Co-op, solving crossword puzzles, and talking to whoever she runs into around Oberlin.
