Biography

Clea Gunn Thomas is the STEM Program Coordinator for the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR). They provide support for students interested in undergraduate research, as well as overseeing the STRONG and BRANCHES programs, which focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the sciences. They also work closely with the Center for Learning, Education and Research in the Sciences (CLEAR). 

Clea graduated from Oberlin College with majors in geoscience and studio art. As a student, they participated in metamorphic petrology research, as well as serving on the Geoscience Student Council. Clea is a practicing artist with experience in glass, sculpture, print, paint and more.
