As your new Chief Information Officer, this past year has been a journey of discovery and connection. I've dedicated my time to building a talented team, understanding our diverse needs, and forging strategic partnerships—all with the goal of better serving our community.
In conversations with many of you, I've learned about your experiences with our current technology. Some feel overwhelmed by the amount of technology available, others find it outdated, and some are completely satisfied. These insights have deepened my commitment, and that of CIT, to refine our resources and enhance our learning, teaching, and working environments.
Many of you have expressed the desire to be involved in technology-related decisions and change management. We've delayed the survey to ensure accuracy and collaboration. Now, your input is crucial for creating a responsive and user-focused tech environment at Oberlin.
