Antwain Tyus Appointed Director of IT Support at Oberlin

We are excited to welcome Antwain Tyus as our Director of IT Support, a role he stepped into on December 11, 2023. An Oberlin native, Antwain brings over a decade of experience from Cuyahoga Community College and a master’s degree in information technology management from Western Governors University.

Antwain, a certified project manager, is expected to partner with CIT members and partners, focusing on leading the IT Support unit to:

• Continuing the CIT commitment to fostering a self-service culture within the IT department and the broader community.
• Centralizing asset and incident management to tighten efficiency and control.
• Leading the CIT in the development of the new Services Portal—a holistic enterprise service management system, creating a one-stop shop for all IT services and support and beyond.
• Advocating for and leading the adoption and implementation of the ITIL framework across all IT support functions.
