Planned Perimeter Firewall Maintenance - Internet Outages Expected

CIT will be upgrading the perimeter firewall on Friday, August 9 beginning at 10:00 p.m. and extending until 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10. This is a major upgrade and will result in a series of Internet outages throughout the evening. Some outages may last 10–15 minutes at a time.
Users will only be interrupted when trying to access off-campus resources; any network services hosted on campus will continue to work during this period.
