From one Obie to another: if you really want to take a break from life during a school break, the easiest way to do it is to stay put.

Thanks to a rather complex sequence of events, I'm spending Fall Break in New York City, which means this blog is basically one long gush about how awesome my life is right now. Also, THE IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT is finally made.

So I read and I wrote and I did my problem set and I got nothing else accomplished, meaning that a lot of things from my to-do list have now been pushed onto my "to-do over Fall Break" list.

The buzz and hum of worry and work-work-work is palpable, noticeable.

This is where I sit and frantically work on thermo while I'm waiting for my reaction to proceed on its own.

A healthful living environment contributes to the idea of community, and creates a type of neighborhood...

Toto, we're definitely not in Ohio anymore.

Last year, I got to play the role of a whiny, ignorant child. This year, I got to play the role of an angsty, apathetic teen. It's like I'm growing older and everything.
