Once upon a time I was an admitted student
April 11, 2009
I read that sentence again and again, then ran outside to my backyard, where my dad was doing some spring yard work and making pleasant small talk with the neighbors over the fence, and I promptly yelled to the skies, "I'm going to college!"
Registration: Woe?
April 10, 2009
Upon return to campus after spring break, students receive a pleasant reminder for fall registration. "What? This soon? I'm still slaving through a disastrous spring semester, everything is about to start moving twice as quickly as before, how could I even THINK of next fall?" you think.

Getting Lucky in Kentucky (Part II)
April 5, 2009

April 4, 2009
"The people who come here illegally across the border are not educated people," Ms. Richardson said. "They don't have any culture or any respect for ours."
