Biography

Angie Liette was born and raised in Ohio and had lived in multiple cities around the state before settling near Oberlin. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Ball State University majoring in social work with a minor in interpersonal communication. She has worked with many different populations and programs including a youth education and employment case management program, an “aging-at-home” Medicaid case management program, inpatient behavioral health working with individuals with mental illness, and in career services at a career and trade college. Her experience working in career services sparked her interest in higher education, which led her to her position at Oberlin College.

Angie is delighted to be a member of the Oberlin College team and is excited to have a part in helping students achieve their educational goals through accessibility and inclusion.

In her spare time, you will find Angie trying new recipes and restaurants and attending sporting events with her husband and son. Angie also loves listening to show tunes, watching thriller movies, and reading mystery and fantasy novels. She always loves a good tv show, movie, or book recommendation!
