Alyssa Evans

Biography

Alyssa is a dedicated Registered Nurse in the Student Health and Wellbeing department at Oberlin College and Conservatory, where she provides exceptional care and fosters a culture of inclusivity and support for students.

Her nursing career began with LPN training in Sandusky, Ohio, followed by an associate degree from Lorain County Community College and bachelor’s degree from Ohio University. Alyssa is currently pursing a graduate degree in nursing with a strong interest in mental health.

With extensive experience in hospital, outpatient, home care, ambulatory settings, leadership roles, and nursing education, Alyssa combines clinical expertise with a passion for education, mental health and well-being, and is committed to fostering environments where individuals feel valued and supported. Guided by a purpose to serve, she plays a pivotal role in promoting the holistic health of our beloved Oberlin community.
