Dewy Ward ’34 Alumni Center
The Dewy Ward ’34 Alumni Center is the home of the Oberlin College Alumni Association. It serves as the center of activity and information for graduates of the college and conservatory, offering programs, class reunions, services, and a range of opportunities for alumni to engage with each other, as well as with students and the campus at large. The facility has office space and meeting rooms for staff, a reception area, and is adjacent to the Richard D. Baron ’64 Art Gallery.
The center is named in honor of Dewy Ward ’34, the first woman president of the Alumni Association and an “innovator in alumni programming.” Ward famously advocated for student protesters during the Vietnam War era and received Oberlin’s Alumni Medal in 1996.
