Biography

Al Herrera is a recent graduate of Oberlin College from Chicago. In their current role as Gender & Attractions Initiatives (GAI) Fellow, they are focused on student support & programming for women & queer students. As a student, they were a Posse Scholar, creative writing major, CAST & GSFS double minor, and a student employee of the Office for Disability & Access (ODA). They were also involved in Oburlesque, WOBC, and La Alianza Latinx (LAL). They look forward to giving back to the Oberlin community and supporting students in making the most of their time on campus. Outside of work, Al can be found reading, writing, working on an embroidery project, or playing bass.
