Program and Special Interest Housing Application

Application Deadlines:

Fall 2009, February 27, 2009 for Continuing and Returning Students

Fall 2009, June 10, 2009 for New and Transfer Students

Spring 2010, December 1, 2009 for Students Returning from Leave

Spring 2010, January 15, 2010 for Mid-Year New and Transfer Students

Complete this application if you are interested in living in any of the Program or Special Interest Housing (Asia/Quadrangle, Russian House/Allencroft, French House/Bailey, Women's Collective/Baldwin, Spanish House/Harvey, Hebrew Heritage House/Johnson, German House/Kade, Afrikan Heritage House/Lord-Saunders, Third World House/Price, Quiet Floor, Substance-Free Housing, Recovery Housing, SEED House, or the Edmonia Lewis Center). All Program and Special Interest Housing is by application only. Once you submit your application, the faculty and staff in charge of that Program will review it and rank it for room selection. Some Houses also require an interview prior to the ranking/placement process.

You may apply to more than one Program House but will only be permitted to select housing in one. Students applying to SEED or the ELC must meet the residency requirements for village housing. Students may apply to program and special interest housing at any time. Priority in the application and selection process will be given to those students who meet the published deadlines; placement will be determined by the availability of space.

Complete all essay questions for each House in which you are interested. If applying to French, German, or Spanish houses, please answer in the language of that house on the questions for that house.
