Biography
Mickayla is thrilled to become a part of the Oberlin College community in the role of Manager of Special Events and Programs, where she focuses on marketing for Career Exploration & Development. Her enthusiasm is directed towards supporting the CED team by creating and disseminating marketing materials for events and programs, helping to increase the visibility of these resources for Oberlin College students.
As a first-generation college student, Mickayla holds a Bachelor's Degree in sociology/anthropology from Florida International University. Prior to joining Oberlin College, she gained experience in human resources and worked with high school students on college readiness.
In addition to her professional achievements, Mickayla takes pride in being a mother of two beautiful children. Outside of work, she finds joy in traveling and embarking on adventures with her husband.
