The Counseling Center
The Counseling Center provides counseling services of all kinds,
and is a great place of support for victims, and survivors of
sexual assault as well as their friends. As an on-campus resource,
the Center’s services are free and tailored to the Oberlin
College community.

Student Health Services
Student Health Services provides health advice for students. Student
Health will often refer a student to resources on campus
as well as local resources. Services are free for students.

The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life
The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life provides counseling
for those who prefer spiritual approach. Beyond
having on-site chaplains for Protestant, Jewish and Catholic
students, they can refer students to local resources of many
religions and faiths.

County Rape Crisis Center
The Lorain County Rape Crisis Center is a local resource for supporting
anyone affected by sexual assault. They provide a variety of
services to deal with various situations. They operate a 24/7
hotline as well as have an advocate on campus.

National Sexual Assault Hotline
The National Sexual Assault Hotline is operated by the Rape, Abuse
and Incest National Network (RAINN; rainn.org) and is a free,
confidential, national, 24/7 hotline to serve all needs associated
with sexual assault.

National Domestic Violence Hotline
This is a hotline is tailored to serve cases of domestic violence
and will be better able to answer these specific questions. It
is free, confidential and 24/7 service.

There are individuals on campus trained to provide first response
to cases of sexual assault. For example, you can talk to your Resident
Assistant (RA), Resident Director (RD), you can request to talk
to the Dean on Call, or go talk to your Class Dean.
