Chuck Stake
Bio:
Chuck Stake (b.1947, birth name Donald Edward Mabie) is a Canadian mail
artist and trading card artist who has been active in the international
mail art network since 1971. He founded Chuck Stake Enterprizes in
Toronto in 1972 and heads the Canadian Correspondence Art Gallery. “Mabie
has been drawing, performing, assembling, trading and mailing art for
over three decades. He has had some twenty solo exhibitions in Canada
and Europe, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions and
performance events across Canada, in the United States, Europe and
Japan. He is credited with presenting the first performance work in
