Biography

Leah’s passion to make a difference in the lives of others and commitment to wellness inspired her to pursue a career in nursing. She graduated with honors from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in biology. During her academic studies, she was an active member of the Biological Science Scholars and HELIX Tri-Beta, where her passion for science and compassion for others flourished. Inspired by her desire to make a meaningful impact, Leah received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Mount Carmel College of Nursing. Leah has worked at several Cleveland area hospitals before joining Oberlin College. In her current role, she enjoys building relationships with students, providing both medical care and emotional support during their academic journey. Outside of work, Leah can be found spending quality time with her family while exploring her love for science museums and nature.
