A weekend of public events showcasing entrepreneurship at Oberlin. Saturday will feature a keynote address by Tom Kelley '77, general manager of IDEO, and the LaunchU Pitch Competition, in which our LaunchU entrepreneurs will pitch before a panel of investors and compete for awards.

Bootcamp Week 1 (Jan 7-11): Idea Development
The programming in this first week will focus on developing your idea and business model— conceptually, organizationally, and financially—through seminar presentations by experts in the field and workshops with Creativity & Leadership mentors.
Bootcamp Week 2 (Jan 14-18): Organizational Development
The second week will focus on organizational development, with presentations and workshops on branding, marketing, and positioning, as well as legal issues, hiring, and other topics to prepare you to take your venture to market.
For Alumni: Bootcamp Week events will be streamed to off-campus participants.

Accelerator (Jan 22-24): Pitch Development
Participants will come together on campus for intensive preparation for the culminating Pitch Competition before a panel of investors. In the days leading up to the competition, participants will hone their presentation skills, and prepare and practice their elevator and investor pitches. Discussion topics such as effective networking and working with investors will prepare participants for effective engagement with real investors during the pitch competition at the end of the week.
