A previous message to the college community regarding our new network authentication process generated some concerns, so we are providing further information to explain the process and our position more thoroughly and, hopefully, allay some fears about this new system. CIT’s main focus has really been simply to provide a product that will keep the network as safe and secure as possible, and assist our user community as much as possible. Open-forum meetings (open to all Oberlin College students, staff, and faculty) will be held in Mudd 050 on the following dates:

• Wednesday, 16 September at 12:30 P.M. and 4:30 P.M.
• Thursday, 17 September at 4:30 P.M.
• Wednesday, 23 September at 12:30 P.M
• Thursday, 24 September at 4:30 P.M.
