A longtime professor of economics at Harvard University, Greg Mankiw is an influential voice in national economic debates, contributing as both academic expert and policy advisor. A frequently contributor to the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and Fortune, Mr. Mankiw has also written some of the most widely-read textbooks on economics and served as Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors for President Bush from 2003 to 2005. He has also served as a research associate for the National Bureau of Economic Research, and advisor to the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and the Congressional Budget Office.
