One of the greatest operatic mezzo-sopranos in history, Marilyn Horne returns to the Oberlin Conservatory of Music this fall for a residency as Distinguished Professor of Voice. These master classes are a unique opportunity for all to listen and learn as a legend works with Oberlin voice majors.

The Distinguished Professorship of Voice is made possible with the support of the Danenberg Residency Fund.

A prominent Verdi baritone known for his rich, commanding voice, Elyria native Lester Lynch has performed in operas and concerts throughout the U.S. Last season, he made his debut with the Lyric Opera of Chicago in Porgy and Bess and appeared at Carnegie Hall in
a series of recitals commemorating the great Paul Robeson.
