Artist Recital Series

Since its inception in 1878, Oberlin’s Artist Recital Series has presented more than 1,000 of the world’s most acclaimed and accomplished musicians, conductors, orchestras, chamber ensembles, and composers. These artists enhance the arts and culture of Oberlin and Northeast Ohio. It is one of the oldest continuing concert series in the United States.

Such stars as Roomful of Teeth, Gerald Finley, Punch Brothers, Yo-Yo Ma, Joyce DiDonato, Esperanza Spalding, and András Schiff have performed under the auspices of the Artist Recital Series. This ever-growing roster represents a continuing celebration of music that draws upon cultures and styles from around the world.
